Pod of Gold: Bertrand Berry on Notre Dame's defensive line resurgence

As spring football has continued at Notre Dame, much of the attention has been on the wide receivers and linebackers. But on this week’s podcast, Tyler James and Eric Hansen wanted to focus on perhaps the biggest strength of the team: the defensive line.

To do so, they invited on former Notre Dame outside linebacker/defensive end Bertrand Berry to share his thoughts on the Irish. Berry discussed Notre Dame's improved defensive line play, the pro potential of Khalid Kareem and Julian Okwara, the transition from linebacker to defensive end and more (:34).

Then Tyler and Eric made some NCAA Tournament predictions for the Irish women's basketball team during the "Place Your Bets" segment (25:34) and weighed in on defensive end Ovie Oghoufo's future during the "Flavor of the Week" segment (30:15).

Later, Tyler and Eric answered questions from Twitter (33:44).
