The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced Tuesday that Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley has been named the Polynesian Pro Football Player of the Year.

Stanley won the college version of the award in 2015, while a senior at Notre Dame.

The Polynesian Pro Football Player of the Year Award recognizes the most outstanding professional football player of Polynesian ancestry. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Stanley is of Tongan descent.

Stanley helped lead the Baltimore Ravens to a 14-2 regular-season record this season. He has given up no sacks and only five QB hurries. He was selected as a first-team All-Pro and was also named to the Pro Bowl.

Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley and quarterback Lamar Jackson celebrate Jackson's touchdown run against Cincinnati earlier this season.
