Staff reports
ND Insider

Three recruits verbally committed to Notre Dame will play in Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. The game, broadcast on NBC, kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.

Three Irish commits -- tight end Nic Weishar (No. 89), outside linebacker Richard Yeargin III (23) and offensive tackle Quenton Nelson (56) -- will be playing for the East team.

Notre Dame recruiting target Nyles Morgan (6), an inside linebacker, will play for the West team. Morgan also is scheduled to announce his commitment to the school of his choice during the game. The Irish appear to be the frontrunners with Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Florida joining as contenders.
