Bo Wallace didn't take long to change destinations.

Eight days after announcing he would not be enrolling at Notre Dame, the senior defensive end recruit has signed with Arizona State.

A release from the Sun Devils athletic department said Wallace signed an athletic grant-in-aid letter on Friday.

Wallace, a three-star recruit, originally signed with Notre Dame in February. Earlier this week, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect described the split with the Irish as a "mutual" decision between both parties.

Notre Dame is left without a defensive end in its 2015 recruiting class because of the loss of Wallace.

Wallace totaled 52 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss and nine sacks in his senior season at River Ridge (La.) John Curtis Christian. Rivals ranked him as the No. 26 outside linebacker in the 2015 class. 247Sports slated him No. 29 at the position.
