Notre Dame commit recap: Tony Jones Jr. dazzles on national TV

RB Tony Jones Jr. | Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy 28, Paramus Catholic (N.J.) 20: Jones made his way onto SportsCenter with a 59-yard touchdown run. He finished the game with 12 carries for 73 yards and two touchdowns. He added a 14-yard catch for the Ascenders (7-0).

CB Julian Love | La Grange (Ill.) Nazareth Academy 49, St. Viator 22: Love did a little bit of everything on his way to four touchdowns in another win for the Roadrunners (7-2). He rushed for two touchdowns (two and 14 yards), caught a 13-yard touchdown pass and stripped Irish commit Cole Kmet of the ball and returned the fumble 55 yards.

WR Chase Claypool | Abbotsford (B.C.) Secondary 41, Robert Bateman 14: Claypool scored four touchdowns in a runaway victory. He hauled in six passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown for the Panthers (6-1).

QB Ian Book | El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge 38, Nevada Union 7: Book threw three touchdowns and rushed for 120 yards in blowout win. He finished 12 of 18 passing for 207 yards with one interception for the Trojans (8-1). His touchdown throws came from 38, 27 and 25 yards out.

DB Jalen Elliott | Chesterfield (Va.) L.C. Bird 61, Wythe 0: Elliott threw for a touchdown and intercepted a pass early in a blowout that allowed him to sit for much of the game. The Skyhawks (8-0) recorded their fifth shutout of the season.

OL Parker Boudreaux | Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore Catholic 44, Bartow 6: Boudreaux helped clear the way for a Bishop Moore offense that featured 14 different ball carriers as the Hornets extended their perfect record to 8-0.

LB Jamir Jones | Rochester (N.Y.) Aquinas Institute 35, Fairport 14: Jones caught three passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Little Irish win. He also made eight tackles and two tackles for a loss for Aquinas (8-0).

S D.J. Morgan | Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco 61, JSerra Catholic 7: Morgan tallied three tackles and two pass breakups in a lopsided win for the Braves (8-0).

LS John Shannon | Wilmette (Ill.) Loyola Academy 49, Mt. Carmel 21: Shannon recorded eight tackles at linebacker as Loyola finished a perfect regular season. The Ramblers (9-0) earned the top seed in the IHSA Class 8A playoffs and take on West Aurora (5-4) Saturday in the first round.

DE Khalid Kareem | Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison 14, West Bloomfield 20: Kareem recorded one sack fumble, four tackles and three tackles for a loss in the regular season finale for Harrison. The Hawks (7-2) start the first round of the MHSAA Division 2 playoffs Friday against Birmingham Groves (9-0).

OL Tommy Kraemer | Cincinnati (Ohio) Elder 35, DePaul Catholic (N.J.) 34 (OT): Kraemer and the Elder offense outlasted Ohio State running back commit Kareem Walker in an overtime win for the Panthers (6-3).

DE Julian Okwara | Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell 44, Berry Academy 42: Okwara maintained a heavy presence in the backfield with four sacks and seven tackles in a tight win for the Knights (6-3).

WR Kevin Stepherson | Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast 20, Atlantic Coast 26: Stepherson found the end zone twice on receptions. He finished with six catches for 102 yards in the loss for the Buccaneers (2-6).

OL Liam Eichenberg | Cleveland St. Ignatius 34, St. Xavier 20: Eichenberg piled up three pancake blocks as theWildcats (5-3) kept their playoff hopes alive with a win.

TE Cole Kmet | Arlington Heights (Ill.) St. Viator 22, Nazareth Academy 49: Kmet gave the quarterback position a try and grossed 92 yards on 15 carries but completed only one pass. He also caught one pass for 12 yards and recorded five tackles, three for a loss, in the season finale for St. Viator (1-8).

CB Donte Vaughn | Memphis (Tenn.) Whitehaven 29, Collierville 6: Vaughn and the Whitehaven defense allowed only 124 yards and seven first downs in a win for the Tigers (8-1).

TE Brock Wright | Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair 7, Cypress Woods 44: Wright caught a 38-yard touchdown pass in the loss. He finished with three catches for 48 yards for the Bobcats (5-3).

OL Josh Lugg | Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny 58, Greater Latrobe 14: Lugg and the Tigers (7-1) made easy work of a winless opponent.

OL Dillan Gibbons | St. Petersburg (Fla.) Northside Christian 34, Auburndale Jordan Christian 6: Gibbons helped pave the way to a 28-0 halftime lead for the Mustangs (8-0).

Out for season: DE Adetokunbo Ogundeji (knee), S Spencer Perry (shoulder)
