Best advice I received through the recruiting process: Go with your heart, try to take things slowly and know what you’re getting into when you commit.

One word to describe Brian Kelly: Committed.

The one thing I won’t miss about the recruiting process: Getting phone calls randomly.

Moment I knew I wanted to be Irish: The day I went up there and when we dropped my brother off when he was a freshman.

My secret off-the-field talent: Video games.

Song on my iPod I’m embarrassed to tell people about: “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift.

Sports idol: My brother, Romeo.

Preferred social media: Twitter.

Favorite football accomplishment: Catching a touchdown because it was something Romeo hasn’t done.

Dream job (other than the NFL): ESPN analyst.

Defensive line coach Keith Gilmore on Okwara: "Julian is more of a finesse rusher. He’s got a lot of quick-twitch about him. He’s a guy that has a speed and diversity in that way."
