Notre Dame commit recap: Ademilola twins stack sacks

All but three Notre Dame commits were in action last week. ND Insider recaps how each pledge fared.

DE Justin Ademilola and DT Jayson Ademilola | Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep 48, Bergen Catholic 42: Plenty of points were put on the board, but that didn’t prevent the Ademilola twins from making noise in the Bergen Catholic backfield. Justin tallied five sacks and Jayson added 1.5 sacks for St. Peter’s Prep (5-1).

QB Avery Davis | Cedar Hill (Texas) High 72, Irving Nimitz 10: Davis continued his hot streak at quarterback by completing 16 of his 20 passes for 372 yards and six touchdowns. The touchdown completions consisted of 29, 31, 60, 41, 18 and 58 yards. Davis also threw one interception in the win for Cedar Hill (5-2).

DL Donovan Jeter | Beaver Falls (Pa.) High 27, Central Valley 21: Jeter made eight tackles, three tackles for a loss and one sack in the win for Beaver Falls (6-1).

WR Jordan Pouncey | Winter Park (Fla.) High 50, University 13: Pouncey, who has played a lot of running back recently, put together his best receiving game of the season with seven catches for 102 yards. On defense, Pouncey recorded five tackles in the Winter Park (5-2) blowout win.

WR Michael Young | Destrehan (La.) High 49, Central LaFourche 21: Young scored on a 65-yard touchdown as Destrehan (7-0) pulled away early to remain undefeated.

S Isaiah Robertson | Naperville (Ill.) Neuqua Valley 38, Lake Park 12:Robertson caught a 20-yard touchdown pass as Neuqua Valley (8-0) extended its winning streak.

TE Cole Kmet | Arlington Heights (Ill.) St. Viator 17, Nazareth Academy 20: Kmet caught six passes for 42 yards in the St. Viator loss. He also rushed twice for 15 yards and made eight tackles for the Lions (5-3).

CB Paulson Adebo | Mansfield (Texas) High 35, Lamar 21: Adebo rushed twice for 24 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards as Mansfield (5-2) won its fourth consecutive game.

LB Drew White | Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas 42, Fort Lauderdale 8:White tallied five tackles, one tackle for a loss, one fumble recovery and one blocked punt in the St. Thomas Aquinas (4-2) win.

OT Josh Lugg | Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny 49, Seneca Valley 14: Lugg helped clear the way for 325 rushing yards in the North Allegheny rout. He also totaled four tackles on defense for the Tigers (6-2).

TE Brock Wright | Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair 27, Cypress Creek 20: Wright caught two passes for 22 yards in the Cy-Fair victory. He also helped block for 206 rushing yards for the Bobcats (5-2).

LB Pete Werner | Indianapolis Cathedral 41, Center Grove 44: Werner totaled six tackles in the overtime loss for Cathedral (5-4). The Irish defense could not stop Russ Yeast, who caught seven passes for 214 yards and five touchdowns.

OL Robert Hainsey | Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy 38, Oxbridge Academy 0:Hainsey and the offensive line helped protect quarterback Kellen Mond as he accounted for three more touchdowns to bump his season total to 23, a school record for IMG Academy (6-0).

DT Darnell Ewell | Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor 62, Wilson 26: Ewell and the Lake Taylor defense didn’t need to do much as the offense cruised with 470 yards in the sixth straight win for the Titans (6-1).

DE Jonathon MacCollister | Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore 63, Tavares 13: There was little doubting the outcome when Bishop Moore (6-1) opened up a 42-0 lead in the first quarter. MacCollister played on both offense and defense in the dominating performance.

OL Dillan Gibbons | Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic 49, Calvary Christian 26:The Clearwater Central Catholic (6-1) offense racked up 398 yards for an average of nine yards per play behind Gibbons and the offensive line.

LB David Adams and DT Kurt Hinish | Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic 62, Altoona 0: Adams, Hinish and Pittsburgh Central Catholic (7-1) completed its first shutout of the season.

RB CJ Holmes | Cheshire (Conn.) Academy 47, Phillips Andover Academy 12: Holmes didn’t need to carry the load as Cheshire Academy (3-2) won in a rout. Boston College commit Brandon Sebastian, a cousin of Notre Dame safety Avery Sebastian, had a breakout game with a kick return for a touchdown and an interception return for a touchdown.

LB Bo Bauer | Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep 62, St. Francis 35: Bauer and the Cathedral Prep defense allowed 35 points to be scored for only the second time this season, but the Ramblers (8-0) rolled after trailing 14-13 at halftime.
