A 2017 wide receiver reported a Notre Dame offer on Saturday. ND Insider takes a closer look at Gavin Holmes.

• WR GAVIN HOLMES, 5-11, 178; JUSTIN (TEXAS) NORTHWEST.

Senior stats: 83 catches for 1,545 yards and 15 touchdowns; two touchdowns on kickoff returns.

247Sports ranking: Three stars, No. 70 wide receiver.

Rivals ranking: Three stars, No. 75 wide receiver.

Notable offers: UCLA, Nebraska, Baylor, Houston, Arizona State.

Previous commitments: Holmes was committed to Iowa for nearly five months. He dropped his pledge to the Hawkeyes on Nov. 22. Holmes previously committed to Duke from May 30 to June 16.
