Offer Report: 2017 WR Jafar Armstrong

Notre Dame currently has just one wide receiver commit in its 2017 recruiting class: 3-star Louisiana recruit Michael Young.

The Irish coaches are looking to find Young some company.

ND Insider takes a look at 2017 wide receiver Jafar Armstrong, who is currently committed to Mizzou.

• WR JAFAR ARMSTRONG, 6-1, 185; SHAWNEE MISSION (KS) BISHOP MIEGE.

Senior stats: Armstrong caught 54 passes for 1,277 yards and 21 touchdowns, while adding two rushing scored and two return touchdowns in his senior season. He had very similar stats as a junior, piling up 65 catches, 1,262 receiving yards and 16 total scores.

Rivals ranking: Three stars, No. 79 wide receiver.

247Sports ranking: Four stars, No. 34 wide receiver.

Notable offers: Mizzou (committed), Illinois, Iowa, Kansas

Current commitment: Armstrong committed to Mizzou on June 14.
