Offer Report: 2017 RB Deon Jackson

A 2017 running back recruit reported a Notre Dame offer on Friday. ND Insider takes a closer look at Duke commit Deon Jackson.

Senior stats (first seven games): 95 carries for 646 yards and five touchdowns; 11 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns.

247Sports ranking: Three stars, No. 49 running back.

Rivals ranking: Three stars, No. 59 athlete.

Notable offers: Duke (committed since July), Wisconsin, Louisville, West Virginia, Virginia Tech.

Notre Dame connection: Jackson competed in Notre Dame’s Irish Invasion camp this past summer. He attends the same high school as former Notre Dame targets Trey Blount and Andrew Thomas, who both committed to Georgia. Notre Dame walk-on wide receiver Mick Assaf also attended Pace Academy, where his father is the head of school.
