Moment I knew I wanted to be Irish: “When I first visited with my dad. Right when we were getting on campus, and I got a chance to see the dome, that was kind of when I figured it out. I never felt like that at any other place. I felt like a kid in a candy shop.”

Should football have an early signing period? “Yes, if it doesn’t change much. I don’t really feel like anything is wrong with the system right now. I was committed forever, so I would have signed early if I could have just to end everything.”
