Notre Dame continued to expand its recruiting board in the 2018 and 2019 classes on Friday. ND Insider takes a closer look at the seven recruits reporting new Notre Dame offers.

• 2018 LB BRIAN ASAMOAH, 6-1, 205; COLUMBUS (OHIO) ST. FRANCIS DESALES.

Junior stats: 39 tackles and 11 tackles for a loss; 95 carries for 667 yards and eight touchdowns; two receptions for 90 yards and one touchdown.

Rivals ranking: Three stars, No. 28 athlete.

Notable offers: Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, UCLA and West Virginia.

Notre Dame connection: Asamoah attended Notre Dame’s home victory over Miami last season.
