The spring star shuffle will continue at Notre Dame on Wednesday.

Fresh off hosting several top recruiting targets over the weekend, the Irish football program will receive a visit from four-star wide receiver Chase Williams.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Williams will make his visit to South Bend on Wednesday before heading to Ohio State on Thursday.

The Irish have already received two verbal commitments from wide receivers in the 2018, but they’re looking to add more talent at the position.

Williams, a product of Corona (Calif.) Roosevelt, reported a Notre Dame offer on the same day four-star wide receiver Braden Lenzy committed to the Irish. A little more than a month later, Williams will get his chance to see Notre Dame in person.

“He’s a good player,” said CBS Sports Network recruiting analyst Tom Lemming. “He has good size. He’s a real productive wide receiver at a productive program out in the Los Angeles suburbs. He has good, steady speed, and really good size and hands.”

Williams caught 42 passes for 1,007 yards and 19 touchdowns in his junior season. He added 37 tackles and one interception as a defensive back.

Rivals ranks Williams as the No. 25 wide receiver in the 2018 class. 247Sports slates him No. 44 at the position.

Notre Dame is one of only a few schools not on the West Coast to have offered Williams. His offer list includes the likes of USC, UCLA, Washington, Oregon and Georgia.

The Irish, who hit 12 commitments in the 2018 class on Sunday night with the addition of three-star offensive lineman John Dirksen, are expected to host more recruits throughout the week and into the weekend.
