An in-state linebacker reported a Notre Dame offer Tuesday night. ND Insider takes a closer look at 2018 recruit Cameron McGrone.

• LB CAMERON MCGRONE, 6-1, 210; INDIANAPOLIS LAWRENCE CENTRAL.

Junior stats: 93 tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks.

Rivals ranking: Four stars, No. 16 outside linebacker.

247Sports ranking: Four stars, No. 20 outside linebacker.

Notable offers: Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee, Louisville and Indiana

Notre Dame connection: McGrone has visited Notre Dame multiple times. Most recently, he visited for an Irish practice in April. He also attended Notre Dame’s game against Stanford last season.
