For the first time since August, no Notre Dame commits were forced to sit out with injuries. ND Insider recaps the past week for the 13 Irish pledges in action.

• DT Ja’mion Franklin | Ridgely (Md.) North Caroline 61, Kent County 0: Franklin tallied four tackles, two tackles for a loss, one sack and a forced fumble in the North Caroline blowout. The Bulldogs (7-0) recorded their third shutout of the season.

• QB Phil Jurkovec | Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland 45, Shaler 0: Jurkovec helped Pine-Richland remain undefeated with 243 passing yards and 26 rushing yards. He completed 16 of his 19 passes (84 percent) with two touchdowns and one interception for the Rams (8-0).

• QB Cade McNamara | Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch 42, Douglas 7: McNamara threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Damonte Ranch (7-0) cruised. McNamara finished 15-of-30 passing (50 percent) for 216 yards. He also rushed four times for 21 yards.

• LB Bo Bauer | Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep 50, West Toronto Prep 7: Bauer and the Cathedral Prep defense held the opponent to seven points or less for the sixth time this season as the Ramblers (8-0) stayed unbeaten.

• OL John Dirksen | Maria Stein (Ohio) Marion Local 21, Fort Recovery 10: Dirksen played on both lines to help Marion Local rally to stay undefeated. The Flyers (8-0) trailed 10-7 in the third quarter, but the offense added a rushing touchdown later in the third quarter and a passing touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Dirksen recorded a sack on defense.

• RB Jahmir Smith | Sanford (N.C.) Lee County 55, Western Harnett 0: Smith wasn’t asked to do much and left the game early with an ankle injury as a precaution. Smith set up a 34-yard touchdown run for Jucobie Minter with a toss on a reverse for the Yellow Jackets (8-0).

• S Derrik Allen | Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter 27, Woodstock 16: Allen made an impact in every phase of the game in another Lassiter win. He intercepted a pass on defense, returned a punt 62 yards, rushed for 17 yards and caught a 10-yard pass for the Trojans (5-2).

• LB Ovie Oghoufo | Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison 39, Berkley 0: Oghoufo and the Harrison defense put up a shutout as head coach John Herrington won his 431st game, a Michigan state record. Oghoufo recorded six tackles and three tackles for a loss as well as a 13-yard reception for the Hawks (6-2).

• LB Jack Lamb | Temecula (Calif.) Great Oak 41, Temecula Valley 3: Lamb took the field for the first time in six weeks after sitting out with a knee injury. He recorded two tackles in his return for Great Oak (4-3).

• RB Markese Stepp | Indianapolis Cathedral 21, Center Grove 14: Stepp returned after a two-game absence to score two touchdowns in the Cathedral win. But Stepp was still limited in his return from a hamstring issue with only five carries for 49 yards. He scored on a 36-yard touchdown and a three-yard touchdown in the second quarter for the Fighting Irish (4-5).

• WR Kevin Austin | Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep 15, Key West 42: The North Broward Prep offense couldn’t find much success against Key West, and that included Austin. He caught four of the team’s five completions for 25 yards. He also rushed for 18 yards on five carries for the Eagles (4-2).

• WR Micah Jones | Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township 14, Zion-Benton 21: Instead of taking the lead in a 14-14 tie, Warren’s offense gave the go-ahead score to the defense. Quarterback Ian Schilling threw an interception returned for a touchdown in the third quarter which proved to be the difference for the Blue Devils (5-3). Jones was blanketed in coverage with just two catches for three yards.

• ROV Shayne Simon, DT Jayson Ademilola and DE Justin Ademilola | Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter’s Prep 14, Bergen Catholic 41: Bergen Catholic dominated St. Peter’s Prep on both offense and defense. The offense specifically ran away from Jayson Ademilola which resulted in 298 rushing yards. Simon intercepted a pass and totaled 11 tackles, including two for a loss, and Justin Ademilola added six tackles and one tackle for a loss. Simon, the leading receiver for St. Peter’s Prep (4-2), was limited to two catches for 17 yards.

Bye week: OL Cole Mabry, TE George Takacs, DT Jacob Lacey.
