Notre Dame football coaches hit road for first week of contact period

Following the end of Notre Dame’s regular season, the Irish coaching staff quickly started to make visits to see recruits across the country. The current contact period for the 2018 class started on Sunday and runs through Dec. 16.

During this time, coaches can visit a recruit once a week. Those visits typically take place at a recruit’s high school or at his home. A head coach can only visit a recruit once for the entire recruiting cycle which includes the current contact period and the contact period that resumes Jan. 12 and runs through Feb. 3.

The following recruits reported receiving visits from the Irish coaching staff this week. The recruits listed below are in the 2018 class unless noted otherwise. Visits to see recruits who are not yet seniors include limited contact at their schools, per NCAA rules.

Sunday
