For the fourth consecutive day, Notre Dame football added a verbal commitment.

Three-star offensive lineman Andrew Kristofic, who visited campus on Monday, announced his pledge to the Irish on Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 265-pound Kristofic joins four-star recruit John Olmstead, who committed on Friday, on the offensive line in Notre Dame's seven-man 2019 class. Four-star safety Litchfield Ajavon and four-star defensive end Howard Cross III verbally committed on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

In picking Notre Dame, Kristofic chose to follow Irish quarterback signee Phil Jurkovec. The two played football and basketball together at Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland. The Rams finished the 2017 football season with a state championship.

The Irish beat out top competition for Kristofic. His offer list included the likes of Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan and Pittsburgh. He made unofficial visits to see the Tigers and Buckeyes earlier this month before returning to Notre Dame on Monday.

Former offensive line coach Harry Hiestand extended Kristofic a scholarship offer in December, and Jeff Quinn continued that pursuit when he replaced Hiestand in January.

"He's a very athletic offensive tackle," said CBS Sports Network recruiting analyst Tom Lemming. "Where John Olmstead is a power guy, Kristofic is flexible. He's not as strong as John, but he has as much potential. The kid could be a five-star player in the future. He's not there yet. He has to put on a little more weight and strength. But in terms of athletic ability, he's one of the best tackles in the country. He's really good."

247Sports slates Kristofic as the No. 37 offensive tackle in the 2019 class. Rivals ranks him No. 55 at the position.

Notre Dame entered April with only three commitments in the 2019 class. After the four-day hot streak, the Irish have shot up the national recruiting class rankings. Rivals ranks Notre Dame's class No. 11 in the country. 247Sports pegs the Irish at No. 14.
