Birthday: Jan. 3, 2000.

First scholarship offer: Missouri.

Moment I knew I wanted to be Irish: "The second that I stepped on campus last fall. I just fell in love with it."

One word to describe Brian Kelly: Outstanding.

The one thing I won’t miss about the recruiting process: "The stress of it. As a punter and a kicker, it's a little different. You only have one scholarship per school per every four years or so. It is a limited deal."

Best player I’ve played against: Northwestern K commit Trey Finison.

The last thing you watched on Netflix: "The Christmas Chronicles."

Most embarrassing song on my playlist: "Electricity" — Silk City & Dua Lipa feat. Diplo & Mark Ronson

Dream job (other than the NFL): "I want to own my own business, whatever that might end up being."

NFL player comparison: Rams punter Johnny Hecker. "I've trained with him. I train with the same guy that he trains with ... The technique is short steps, the way you explode through the ball and different styles of punting."

Expectations for my freshman season: "I am not holding anything back. I want to help the team and put them in the best position to win the game, pinning their offense back and giving the defense a good position to start. And averaging very well and putting it close to the sideline."

Favorite football accomplishment: Getting all-state last year and scoring seven touchdowns against Hillcrest's rival, Bessemer City, in a victory this season.

Under Armour, Nike or Adidas: Nike.

What was the first position you played in football? Quarterback.

What’s your best sport other than football? Baseball.

Sports idol: Mike Trout and Aaron Rodgers.

Preferred social media: Twitter.

Favorite musician/band: Post Malone.

Celebrity crush: Demi Lovato.

How many times have you watched Rudy? "Probably over 100 times."

Most used emoji:

How many pets do you have? One dog, Nala.

Six weeks removed from ankle surgery, Notre Dame punter signee Jay Bramblett expects to play in Saturday's All-American Bowl.
