Free admission to Notre Dame hockey game on Sunday against national U-18 team
SOUTH BEND — Notre Dame announced Wednesday that Sunday afternoon's exhibition game against the United States National Team Development Program's Under-18 team at the Compton Family Ice Arena's Lefty Smith Rink will have free general-admission seating. The faceoff for the game is scheduled for 5 p.m.
This will be the only preview of coach Jeff Jackson's 2021-22 Fighting Irish before the regular season opens Saturday, Oct. 9 when Notre Dame welcomes Long Island University at 6 p.m. The U.S. Under-18 team also features three players who have committed to play on future Notre Dame teams: defenseman Tyler Duke and forwards Maddox Fleming and Logan Cooley.
Notre Dame also announced that it is planning to move forward with full capacity and masking for its 20-home game schedule. Further ticket information will be released later this week.
