Update: Alabama basketball's Jahvon Quinerly out with injury in NCAA Tournament vs. Notre Dame
Quinerly driving toward the basket when he fell down and immediately grabbed his left knee and seemed to be screaming in pain. He was helped off the court by a trainer and assistant coach Brian Hodgson.
Alabama announced that Quinerly would be out for the game.
"He felt something with his knee," coach Nate Oats said about the injury during a sideline interview. TNT reported that Quinerly would be reevualuated after the game.

Quinerly, a junior who was honored on senior day, averages 14.3 points per game, second on the team. He adds 4.3 assist and 3.1 rebounds on average.

Quinerly transferred to Alabama from Villanova. He was a McDonald's All-American in high school.
