10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Notre Dame Stadium tunnel tour. Starts at stadium's north gate.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Football Fridays at the Eck Center. Hospitality tent located on the northwest corner of Eck Visitors Center.

Noon: Kickoff luncheon,Joyce Center Fieldhouse. Ticketed event.

2 to 4 p.m.: Law School Football Fridays open house.

2 p.m.: "Rockne Remembered: A Retrospective on a Life Well-Lived," lecture and book-signing. Auditorium, Hesburgh Library.

3:30 p.m.: "Becoming the Fighting Irish: ND's Place in Football History and American Culture," lecture. Auditorium, Eck Visitors Center.

3:30 p.m.: Cross Country National Catholic Championships. Notre Dame Golf Course.

4 p.m.: Hesburgh Library 50th anniversary celebration, in the library's Carey Courtyard.

4:10 p.m.: Trumpets Under the Dome, Main Building Rotunda.

4:30 p.m.: Marching Band step off, front steps of Main Building.

5 p.m.: Glee Club open rehearsal. Room 329, Coleman-Morse Hall.

6 p.m.: ND pep rally, Moved indoors to Purcell Pavilion.

6 p.m.: ND men's rugby team vs. Indiana. Stinson Field.

7 to 8:50 p.m.: Public ice skating. Compton Family Ice Arena.

8 to 10 p.m.: Knights of Columbus smoker at Sacred Heart Parish Center on Moreau Drive (old Douglas Road). Admission is $5, children free. Guest speakers will be Notre Dame graduates George Blaha, the voice of the Spartans and the Detroit Pistons, and John Scully, writer of the song "Here Come the Irish."


10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Hesburgh Library 50th anniversary booth, library courtyard.

11:30 a.m.: Bagpipe concert, Main Building.

12:40 p.m.: Glee Club pregame concert, Library Quad near reflecting pool.

1 to 3 p.m.: The Notre Dame Experience, Joyce Center fieldhouse.

1:15 p.m.: Player walk, from Guglielmino Complex across Library Quad to Notre Dame Stadium.

2 p.m.: Marching Band concert, steps of Bond Hall.

2:30 p.m.: Irish Guard inspection, Bond Hall.

2:40 p.m.: Marching Band march out to stadium. Starts at steps of Main Building.

3:30 p.m.: Notre Dame vs. MSU game, Notre Dame Stadium.

8:15 p.m.: Post-game Mass, Stepan Center.


8, 10 and 11:45 a.m.: Sunday Mass, Sacred Heart Basilica.

2 to 3:50 p.m.: Public skating, Compton Family Ice Arena.
