Notre Dame-Navy football game will be played in primetime

CBS Sports announced Thursday that Notre Dame's Nov. 1 game against Navy will kick off at 8 p.m. (Eastern).

The game will be played at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. The game is considered a home game for the Midshipmen.

The primetime kickoff is the third so far for the Irish. ND's Sept. 6 home game against Michigan will kick off at 7:30 while the Shamrock Series game a week later against Purdue at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will also start at 7:30.
