Man dies at Notre Dame Stadium during USC game

SOUTH BEND -- A 76-year-old man died after going into cardiac arrest Saturday night while attending the Notre Dame-USC football game.

Paramedics from Notre Dame and the South Bend Fire Department tried to resuscitate the man but were not successful, according to a release from the university. The man went into cardiac arrest at about 8:10 p.m.

The release said the university "extends its deepest condolences to the family."

The man's name was not released.
