A pep rally, yoga and plenty more to do leading up to Notre Dame-Miami clash

The Notre Dame Club of Miami is bringing its “A” Game this weekend.

There’s a full slate of activities leading up to Saturday night’s clash at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., between No. 3 Notre Dame (8-1) and No. 7 Miami (8-0), including some traditional — a Friday night pep rally — and not-so-traditional — Saturday yoga at sunrise.

The Friday night pep rally be at 7:30 EST at the Clevelander South Beach.

Special guests include Dick Vitale, Pat Terrell, Shawn Wooden, the Leprechaun, and ND Cheerleaders. A social hour and a book signing by Greg Bell precede the pep rally at the Clevelander South Beach.

Commemorative T-shirts will be for sale for $20 at the pep rally.

Also on Friday are the 3rd Annual Golf Classic and Reception at the Miami Beach Golf Club; a beach cleanup service project; and a private dinner at Joe's Stone Crab.

On Saturday it’s yoga at sunrise. A pregame official tailgate party at Hard Rock Stadium has been sold out.

The club is offering game day transportation to and from Hard Rock Stadium from the Clevelander South Beach. Proceeds from the weekend go toward to the Miami club’s student scholarship foundation. There are 60 students from Miami who attend Notre Dame, 13 of whom are on scholarship from the ND Miami club.
