Begging the question? Time to submit your queries to the Notre Dame Football Mailbag

The Notre Dame Football Not-So-Live Chat/Mailbag returns this week.

Why does it have such an awkwardly long name? Well, what used to be a live chat and a transcript is now in mailbag format with a transcript. We’ll do this on a weekly basis through the end of spring football practice in mid-April.

Spring practice, for the record, starts uber-early this year, on Saturday. Head coach Brian Kelly has his first spring meeting with the media on Friday.

This particular mailbag will be published in full late Thursday afternoon, with an abridged version in print in Friday’s South Bend Tribune. So try to have your questions submitted by Thursday at noon EST.

How do you submit questions? You can email me at ehansen@sbtinfo.com, and use NDI Mailbag in the subject line. Or if you’re really concise, you can submit questions to me on Twitter @EHansenNDI. Use the hashtag #NDIMailbag.

Please include your name and hometown along with your question.

Also appreciated are questions that limit gibberish and advanced math, that aren’t overly broad and ponderous, and that aren’t more manifesto than question.

The no- bare-feet rule, that was a part of the live chats, has been rescinded forever.

Next week the mailbag shifts to Friday online and Saturday in print for the remainder of spring.
