Notre Dame has yet to decide how many fans will be allowed in Notre Dame Stadium for the 2021 football season, but the Irish athletic department released a timeline for purchasing tickets.

According to Thursday’s press release, the university will communicate the stadium capacity and details regarding parking, tailgating and various campus traditions that accompany a football weekend prior to any tickets going on sale.

Season ticket renewal information will be emailed to season ticket holders the week of May 24. Ticket lottery participants will be given purchasing opportunities in early July. Single-game tickets will go on sale in mid-August.

Fans interested in becoming new season ticket holders can request information at UND.com/FootballTickets.

Last season, Notre Dame limited attendance for home football games to students, faculty, staff, and family members of the competing teams due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendance was capped at 20 percent of capacity, meaning no more than 15,525 tickets were available to account for the 77,622-person capacity.

The largest reported attendance last season of 11,011 came in Notre Dame’s 47-40 victory over then-No. 1 Clemson on Nov. 7. The lowest attendance was 6,831 on Dec. 5 against Syracuse after students finished the fall semester.

Notre Dame, scheduled to play seven home football games in 2021, also announced Thursday the kickoff times for each game. The Irish will host two night games with a 7:30 p.m. EDT kickoff: USC on Oct. 23 and North Carolina on Oct. 30. The Nov. 6 matchup with Navy will start at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The other four home games will kickoff at 2:30 p.m.: Toledo (Sept. 11), Purdue (Sept. 18), Cincinnati (Oct. 2) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 20).

All seven games will be televised on NBC.
