Former Notre Dame power forward Jack Cooley wrapped his rookie season in the NBA with the Utah Jazz this week.

The only former Irish to play in the NBA this season, Cooley averaged 1.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.1 assists in 16 games. He was signed to a 10-day contract late in the season by the Jazz, returned Utah's NBA Development League team (the Idaho Stampede) for a brief stint before Utah resigned him to a contract that included the rest of the 2014-15 season and a 2015-16 team option.

Cooley played his last game in the season finale Wednesday against the Houston Rockets. In a career-high 17 minutes, he scored eight points with six rebounds, also career bests.

Cooley played last year, his first as a professional, in Turkey.
