Big night from big man John Mooney helps Irish win second exhibition by 77

NASSAU, Bahamas - Junior power forward John Mooney scored 26 points and had 12 rebounds and freshman guard Robby Carmody added 20 points and seven rebounds Thursday to lead Notre Dame to a 111-34 exhibition victory in the Bahamas over an NPBA all-star team.

Notre Dame outscored the opposition 57-9 in the second half.

Junior guard Nikola Djogo had 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. The Irish finished with 30 assists on 42 field goals. Five Irish scored double figures. Notre Dame enjoyed a 33-0 scoring run in the second. Notre Dame finished with 74 points in the paint and had 57 bench points.

Following an off day Friday, Notre Dame wraps its three-game exhibition tour Saturday night at 7 against the Bahamas All-Stars.
