NOTING: Eric Williams had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Mike Lewis had 15 points in Saturday’s 69-64 victory over Radford in the third round of the Gotham Classic. … The game was played in LeBron James Arena at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. … Duquesne moved its home game in Pittsburgh to accommodate the Division III women’s volleyball championships. … Dukes coach Keith Dambrodt, who went 305-139 in 13 seasons as the coach at Akron, also was James’ high school coach. Dambrodt was the coach of Akron when it lost to Notre Dame, 69-56, in the first round of the 2011 NCAA tournament. He’s in his second season with the Dukes. … Duquesne is 3-0 for the second time in the last four seasons. … This is Duquesne’s first true road game and the only one until league play Jan. 5. The Dukes will play their next nine games in Pittsburgh — seven at home, two downtown against Pittsburgh and Penn State. … Duquesne returns three starters but lost eight players off last year’s team that finished 16-16 overall, 7-11 and 10th place in the Atlantic 10. … The Dukes were picked this preseason to finish 11th in the 14-team A-10. …. Duquesne’s roster features 11 newcomers and four transfers. … Duquesne leads the all-time series 5-2. Tuesday is the teams’ first meeting since a 77-62 Irish victory on Feb. 8, 1995. … Junior power forward John Mooney leads the Irish in scoring (13.5 ppg.) and rebounding (8.8 rpg.). He’s had double doubles for points and rebounds the last two games. …After going 36-of-38 from the foul line in the season opener against UIC, Notre Dame is a combined 37-for-52 the last four.
