NOTING: Sophomore guard Devin Vassell had 23 points with 11 rebounds and junior guard M.J. Walker added 19 points in an 83-79 overtime victory over Miami (Fla.) on Jan. 18. The Seminoles forced 24 turnovers in a game that featured 17 ties and seven lead changes. … Vassell shared league player of the week honors this week. … The Seminoles are one of six repeat league opponents. ... Florida State has won nine straight and 16 of 17 since a December loss at Indiana. The Seminoles opened the season with a loss at Pittsburgh. … Florida State is ranked inside the top five of the Associated Press poll for the second time in school history and first time since December 1972.
