Notre Dame baseball: Irish sweep Huskies

Notre Dame cranked out 15 hits en route to a 12-5 victory over Connecticut to secure a three-game sweep.

Neither starting pitcher made it out of the second inning as the teams combined for 28 hits.

Trey Mancini and Lane Richards each had three singles for Notre Dame (26-16, 7-8 Big East). Eric Jagielo had a pair of doubles, and Ryan Bull had two hits.
