Notre Dame baseball: Mancini on tear

Notre Dame junior Trey Mancini went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI to lead the Irish to a 7-3 win over Central Michigan on Tuesday in Mount Pleasant, Mich.

Mancini extended his hitting streak to 11 games. He is batting .619 during the streak and has 18 hits in his last 22 at-bats.

Phil Mosey went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple and drove in a pair of runs for the Irish (27-16).
