Notre Dame baseball: St. John's tips Irish

St. John’s posted a 4-1 victory over Notre Dame Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader in Queens, N.Y.

The second game was suspended in the top of the fifth inning with no score. That game will be resumed Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with ND coming to bat. Game 3 of the series will be played at 1 p.m.

Trey Mancini drove in ND’s only run in the opener as the Irish were limited to five hits. Adam Norton (9-3) took the loss.
