South Florida pushed across an unearned run in the 10th inning to edge Notre Dame, 1-0, in the championship game of the Big East softball tournament in Tampa, Fla.
Notre Dame’s Laura Winter pitched all 10 innings, striking out 11. ND managed just four hits in the game, two each by Chloe Saganowich and Kelsey Thornton.
