Notre Dame baseball: Bearcats down Irish

Cincinnati used a pair of two-out rallies in each of the first two innings Saturday to race to a 6-1 lead en route to an 11-5 victory over Notre Dame at Marge Schott Stadium.

The Irish drop to 31-23 overall and 10-14 in the Big East.

Notre Dame enters this week’s 2013 Big East Tournament as the No. 7 seed. The Irish face No. 2 seed Seton Hall at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla.
