Notre Dame men's tennis: Andrews advances

Notre Dame tennis standout Greg Andrews pulled off an upset on the opening day of singles play at the NCAA Championships by defeating No. 18 Jeremy Efferding of Texas A&M, 6-4, 6-4.

The Irish junior, ranked 80th nationally, will next face 16th-ranked Ray Sarmiento of USC on Tuesday morning in Urbana, Ill.
