Notre Dame track and field: Quartet leads Irish in Oregon

Four Notre Dame athletes placed during the first day of the NCAA Championships on Wednesday in Eugene, Ore.

Michelle Brown was 14th in (53.03) in the 400-meter dash, clocking in at 53.03 seconds, while teammate Margaret Bamgbose was 18th (53.38).

Megan Yanik was 19th in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the line at 59.56.

Patrick Feeney was 22nd in the 400, clocking in at 47.48 seconds.
