Notre Dame diving: Irish divers move to nationals

Notre Dame women’s divers Emma Gaboury and Lindsey Streepey are heading to Iowa City, Iowa from August 13-18 for the 2013 USA Diving National Championships. The two qualified in the 3-meter synchronized springboard at the USA Diving National Preliminary Zone B Championships in Tallahassee, Fla., this past weekend.

Gaboury and Streepey finished third in the prelims (230.55) before moving up to second with a strong final round (241.02).

Streepey will also compete in the 1-meter springboard after placing ninth in the finals with a total score of 225.85.
