Notre Dame men's soccer: Irish stumble to No. 6 Creighton

Notre Dame’s No. 7-ranked men’s soccer team fell to No. 6 Creighton, 1-0, in an exhibition match in front of 3,212 fans in Omaha Sunday.

A goal from Carlos McCrary in the 87th minute was the difference. The two squads played to a scoreless draw during the day’s second match, which was 60 minutes in length.

The Irish held a 3-2 edge in shots on goal in the opening match.

Notre Dame will continue its exhibition slate Wednesday at Drake.
