Notre Dame men's soccer: Maryland, Irish battle to draw

No. 2 Notre Dame tied with No. 5 Maryland, 1-1, in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s soccer match at Alumni Stadium Tuesday.

Vince Cicciarelli scored on an assist from Grant Van De Casteele at the 58:17 mark for Notre Dame.

Maryland’s Patrick Mullins scored with 71:45 to play to tie it up.

Notre Dame, 6-0-4 and 3-0-3 in the ACC, controlled much of the match, outshooting the Terrapins , 23-9.
