Notre Dame softball: Three Irish honored

Notre Dame 2013 softball players Brittany O’Donnell, now an assistant coach, and current seniors Chloe Saganowich and Monica Torres were selected National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2012-13 academic year,

The award is given to players nominated by an NFCA coach who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the academic year. More than 4,000 players from seven different NCAA and high school divisions received 2012-13 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete distinction.
