Notre Dame women's golf: Irish finish 17th

Notre Dame’ women’s golf team finished the three-day competition in the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational at the UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. Sunday with a final round team total of 303 for 17th place.

The Irish posted a team total of 902 (305-294-303).

Duke won with an 857 total.

Sophomore Talia Campbell shot a 1-over 73 Sunday, finishing at 218 (73-72-73) and tied for 19th place. Ashley Armstrong was 8-over (75-72-77-224) for 47th place.
