Notre Dame men's golf: Irish in fifth place

Notre Dame’s men’s golf team shot a 296 Monday, good enough for fifth place after two rounds of the 54-hole Invitational at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C.

The Irish are at 597 (301-296), just four strokes behind Georgia entering the final day of play.

Tyler Wingo’s 68-75 — 145 led the way for the Irish.
