Notre Dame swimming: Boilermakers sink Irish women

Notre Dame's Emma Reaney picked up wins in the 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 breast, but it wasn't enough as Purdue edged the Irish, 1551/2-1441/2, on Friday in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Irish received additional victories from Catherine Mulquin (100 backstroke), Kelly Ryan (200 back), Katie Miller (200 individual medley) and Allison Casareto (1-meter dive).
The Irish 200 medley relay squad of Mulquin, Reaney, Catherine Galletti and Ryan took first place in a 1:42.43.
