Notre Dame swimming: ACC sweep for Notre Dame

Emma Reaney and Kelly Ryan each won three events and Notre Dame posted wins in 10 of 16 events pick up ACC wins over Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech Saturday in Pittsburgh.

The Irish downed the host Panthers 193-107 and slipped past the Hokies 162-138.

Ryan swept the short-distance freestyle events with wins in the 50, 100 and 200.

Reaney, picked up wins in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and won the 200 individual medley.

Katie Miller added wins in the 100 backstroke and 500 free for the Irish (2-3).
