Notre Dame women's soccer: Irish earn NCAA bid

For the 21st consecutive season, Notre Dame’s women’s soccer team (11-7-1) has earned a berth in the NCAA Championship.

The No. 23/16 Fighting Irish received an at-large bid and will begin play at 7 p.m. Friday when it entertains Big Ten Conference tournament runner-up Iowa (15-6-1) at Alumni Stadium.

Tickets will be available by contacting the Notre Dame Ticket Office by phone (574-631-7356) or in person (Gate 9 in the Rosenthal Atrium at Purcell Pavilion) from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Fans can order tickets online through UND.com/tickets or can visit the ticket windows at Alumni Stadium on Friday night.
