Notre Dame women's soccer: Michigan ends Irish season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Notre Dame mounted a handful of late chances with only 10 on their side because of a red card, but came up empty and No. 11 Michigan hung on for a 1-0 victory over No. 23/19 Notre Dame Sunday afternoon in the third round of the women’s NCAA Championships at the U-M Soccer Stadium.

Notre Dame closes with a 13-8-1 record after reaching the final 16 of the NCAA tournament for the 13th time since 1997.
