Notre Dame men's soccer: Clark earns honor

Notre Dame men’s soccer coach Bobby Clark has been selected as the 2013 Soccer America Men’s Coach of the Year.

Clark guided his team to the 2013 NCAA Championship and is the first Notre Dame coach to be named Coach of the Year by Soccer America. He led the Irish to a 17-1-6 record, a 7-1-3 mark in league play, and the first College Cup appearance in program history.

Notre Dame’s Harrison Shipp, a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, was selected to the Soccer America MVPs First Team. ND’s Grant Van De Casteele was selected to the second team.
