Notre Dame tennis: Irish men open with win

The Notre Dame men's tennis team opened its spring season Friday with a 7-0 sweep of William & Mary at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.

It was the first victory for Ryan Sachire as ND's head coach. Freshmen Josh Hagar and Eddy Covalschi earned their first Notre Dame victories at the No. 3 and No. 6 single spots, respectively.
