Notre Dame swimming: Louisville defeats Irish women

Notre Dame’s women’s swimming and diving team’s hot streak hit a bump in the road Saturday as the No. 24 Irish fell to the No. 14 Louisville, 171-129, at Louisville.

The Irish had won six of its previous seven meets, but saw the Cardinals win 10 of the 16 events to take down the Irish (6-5).

Irish junior Emma Reaney took three firsts, including the 200 breaststroke (2:11.12), the 100 breaststroke (1:01.01) and the 200 individual medley (2:02.27).
